Therapeutic antibody can provide key protection or lifesaving treatment for those who haven't been or can’t be vaccinated, or when vaccines don’t “take". We galvanized a Gates- and NIAID-funded consortium to understand which antibodies are most protective and why, to learn which in vitro assays best correlate with in vivo success, and to broadly mobilize therapeutics where needed.
