Abstract
Globally millions of individuals get sick, hundreds of thousands are hospitalized, and tens of thousands die from respiratory viruses such as Influenza and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and other related complications each year. Circulation of these respiratory viruses was disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic but have rebounded in the last year. Influenza, RSV, or SARS-COV-2 infection can result in common symptoms including fever, cough, runny nose and sore throat, however treatment for each virus differs. Distinguishing the different respiratory viruses is critical in order to provide appropriate patient care.

  • Overview of current treatment recommendations for the upcoming flu season
