Analytical testing requires the availability of well characterized, reliable reference materials for either confirming the identity, purity or quantity of an analyte in a sample. Manufacturers of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) have to operate under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accreditations in order to provide traceable CRMs with confirmed stability and homogeneity.
This presentation will show different techniques that can be used for the quantification of organic compounds and how Merck can rely on a big variety of in-house skills at their four ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accredited CRM manufacturing sites to provide a wide range of analytical standards and CRMs for food testing applications.
