Who doesn't like summer? Not only do you get to feel the rays of the Sun kiss your skin at the beach and take off the heavy winter jacket, but it also means getting out of school and spending more time with the family.
On the other hand, summertime also comes with increased health risks, and these are among some of the most noteworthy:
• Car accidents
• Dehydration
• Food poisoning
• Mosquitoes
• Sunburn
While some are more obvious than others, it turns out that the least suspecting health risks are statistically proven to be more applicable to the summer months. These include car accidents and food poisoning, which seem to correlate more with the warmer times of the year.
Don't let the health risks spoil your summer, though. Go out and have fun! Just remember to play it safe; drink lots of water, wear sunscreen, and watch out for other dangers.
