In the fight against lung cancer, the leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, the newest weapons are immunotherapy drugs. Clinical trials are showing that in some patients these drugs are more effective at treating lung cancer than traditional chemo or radiation.
At Ohio State University Comprehensive Care Cancer Center, doctors and researchers are working with patients to target therapies personalized to the kind of cancer each person might have.
