Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive forms of the disease. Survival rates are low for patients diagnosed with it, usually because it's not found in the early stages. While there are chemotherapy treatments and other options, there hasn't been much luck for this disease.
Researchers recently found however that it isn't just one disease. There are actually four forms of it, and each one is slightly different. Hopefully as they learn more about each form, precision treatments can be developed to improve the survival rate.
