Clonality is King: Advancing Cell Line Development with Automated Single Cell Dispensing
Single cell isolation is a necessary step for a variety of applications from developing productive, stable cell lines for biologics manufacturing to developing CRISPR edited iPSCs for disease modeling and pharmaceutical development. Traditionally, manual approaches (i.e. limited dilution) or FACS have been used to isolate single cells to generate clonal cell lines. However, these approaches have high labor demand and low yield and can increase development timelines.
