Founded in 2009 at Seoul National University in S. Korea, ChunLab has grown to become a leader in the field of bioinformatics with over 350 government and research agencies, medical centers, companies and universities using ChunLab's services worldwide. Furnished with various NGS platforms (Illumina HiSeq 2500 & MiSeq, Roche GS-FLX & GS Junior, Ion Torrent PGM), we provide a one-stop fully integrated workflow from sample sequencing to discovery. ChunLab's suite of tools - from highly accurate genomic databases to algorithms to software -- are essential for deciphering and making sense of complex biological data derived from next generation sequencing (NGS). But what makes ChunLab unique, is our series of intuitive and high performing bioinformatics software that allow researchers to effectively visualize, analyze and understand their findings. These standalone point & click applications can easily be navigated by those with little knowledge in computer programming, meaning researchers can refocus their time and efforts back onto their research. In August 2013, ChunLab attracted investments of 6 billion Korean Won ($6 million USD) from three leading bio specialized institutional investors (Hanwha Investment-Oxford Bioscience Partners, Atinum Investment Co Ltd and KB Investment). These funds have enabled us to speed up our R&D to develop new products and services that aim at "Making Bioinformatics Easy".
