It seems like everyone knows someone with cancer. It is one of those diseases that touches millions of lives. Because of this, the cancer research and clinical communities work tirelessly to learn more about the many different types and mechanisms of cancer as well as to develop new treatments to beat the disease in a safe and efficacious manner.
LabRoots’ 6th Annual
Cancer Research & Oncology Virtual Event will take place October 10-11, 2018 and aims to bring together the cancer community. Through collaborations, sharing new findings, and connecting with colleagues, the event works to further advance our knowledge of how cancer takes over our bodies and what types of new therapies can help eliminate it. The free, two-day online event will bring research professionals, scientists, and clinicians from around the world to learn and discuss recent advances in cancer research.
Cancer Research & Oncology 2018 will address a range of
topics including:
- Cancer vaccines
- Immunotherapy and other therapeutics
- Analysis of tumor growth
- Immunogenic cell death in cancer: the quantity/quality conundrum”
- Biomarker discovery from big pharmacogenomic data
- Cancer epigenetics
- Genetic markers / Biomarkers
