LabRoots Scholarship Will Be Announced June 1

We would like to acknowledge all of the very qualified applicants in the LabRoots Scholarship Program! LabRoots is proud to offer scholarships to students needing support for research projects, travel expenses, and training supplies associated with their academic pursuits in one of the STEM fields. This is the first year that LabRoots is offering such a scholarship. The scholarship program is yet another way for us to work towards helping students pursue their own ideas in the sciences and promote open science in education. With more than 1,700 applicants so far, we take pride in knowing that students are looking to LabRoots for support in their research. It has been a pleasure reading through all of the wonderful ideas and research projects that are in progress around the world. The open application process is wrapping up at the end of this month, and we are ready to choose the deserving winner. The decision to choose only one winner out of numerous interesting and commendable applicants is a daunting job. The LabRoots team will sift through the applications to find the one that best fits with the LabRoots mission to advance science through collaboration and learning. The winner will be announced June 1st. We hope our members are just as excited about the program as we are! By providing funds to further student-led research projects, LabRoots aims to help increase the number of students who stay in the STEM fields and pursue a career in science outside of college.
