Myosin VIIa (C-5) AC | Santa Cruz Biotechnology

mouse monoclonal IgG2a; Myosin VIIa Antibody (C-5) is an IgG2a κ mouse monoclonal Myosin VIIa antibody (also designated MYO7A antibody, Myosin VIIA antibody, Myosin VIIA (Usher Syndrome 1B (Autosomal Recessive Severe)) antibody, Unconventional Myosin-VIIa antibody, NSRD2 antibody, USH1B antibody, MYOVIIA antibody, DFNA11 antibody, DFNB2 antibody, or MYU7A antibody) that detects the Myosin VIIa protein of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. Myosin VIIa Antibody (C-5) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Myosin VIIa antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Myosin VIIa antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Myosins are molecular motors that move along filamentous Actin and influence cellular movements such as phagocytosis. There are seven classes of myosins in vertebrates, including Myosin II, and six unconventional Myosin classes, designated I, V, VI, VII, IX and X. Myosin VIIa is a plus end-directed motor that influences cilia formation and cell adhesion. Mutations in the human Myosin VIIa gene correlate with Usher syndrome, a disease characterized by congenital sensorineural deafness, vestibular dysfunction and retinitis pigmentosa.
