C3P3

Chimeric cytoplasmic capping prone phage polymerase (C3P3) is a biologically engineered system that generates RNA transcripts. C3P3 systems are used to synthesize messenger RNA in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells. Synthesized mRNA from a C3P3 system transfers genetic information resulting in gene expression.
