Insect pest management
Insect pest management involves controlling the populations of insects that that could negatively impact the growth of crops. Insecticides can be introduced into the soil to control populations of soil dwelling pests like worms and grubs. When targeting above-ground pests like aphids and moths, insecticides are applied directly to plants.
