MTT Assay
The MTT assay is a technique used to assess the metabolic activity of cells by colorimetry (testing the concentration of the solution by its absorbance of a specific light wavelength). Specific enzymes reduce the tetrazolium-based MTT dye to its purple color in viable cells.
