Wetware

Wetware is a term used to describe elements found in the central nervous system and brain. The word wetware emerged from the computer-related definitions of hardware and software. The hardware component of wetware deals with the biochemical properties of the brain. The neurons which transmit these biochemical signals are defined as the software of the wetware system.
