Abstract
Accurate mass analysis coupled with liquid chromatography is a powerful qualitative and quantitative tool that affords the analyst a high degree of specificity, versatility and sensitivity. This approach is routinely applied in a variety of matrices and applications, from pesticide analysis to protein characterization. The Accurate Mass 101: Fundamentals session is designed for people who want to learn which accurate mass workflow will help answer the questions they have about a particular sample. This includes targeted, suspect screening and non-targeted analyses. This course is appropriate for those who want to learn new LC-MS/MS techniques, with a focus on accurate mass analysis, as well as those who want to improve their understanding of basic accurate mass theory.
