Dr. Fraser's research is focused on the discovery and validation of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for complex diseases, including renal dysfunction, long-COVID, and sepsis. By leveraging cutting-edge multiplex technologies, his work aims to identify critical biomarker profiles that can inform early detection, disease monitoring, and therapeutic intervention. Multiplex platforms and advanced analytics, Dr. Fraser's team has identified novel proteins that might enhance diagnostic accuracy and providing insights into disease mechanisms. His translational research, supported by a robust human tissue biobank, provides a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical application. In this presentation, Dr. Fraser will highlight how these multiplex technologies are poised to revolutionize diagnostic workflows, patient outcomes, and guide precision medicine strategies.
Learning Objectives
- Provide new insight on disease biomarkers involved in renal dysfunction, long-COVID, and sepsis
- Evaluate the potential of multiplex technologies to revolutionize diagnostic workflows and improve patient outcomes
- Understand how Proximity Extension Assay and Luminex Assay can be used together in biomarker discovery and validation
