Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has become a foundational tool for both biological research and in-vitro diagnostics, particularly in oncology, immunology, and detection of genetic disorders. Despite its success, there is a need for new DNA sequencing platforms that combine high accuracy, speed, and flexible throughput to provide timely results and cost-effective operations for research and clinical applications. In this webinar we will review how rapid sequencing and flexible throughput can reduce turnaround time in research and clinical NGS. We will then describe the sequencing-by-synthesis process, highlighting the chemistry and engineering innovations enabling rapid sequencing-by-synthesis. Finally, we will characterize the performance of the novel Singular Genomics G4 Sequencing Platform for rapid sequencing-by-synthesis.
Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss the importance of rapid sequencing and flexible throughput in research and clinical next-generation sequencing.
2. Discuss the chemistry and engineering innovations enabling rapid sequencing-by-synthesis.
3. Evaluate the performance of the novel Singular Genomics G4 platform for rapid sequencing-by-synthesis.
