(OTU) Introduction to HumanCentered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI)

The increasing availability, accuracy and cost effectiveness of AI technologies have fueled the uses of Artificial Intelligence in more user-facing products and services than ever before. However, with the increased use of these technologies comes more challenges and questions about how best to deliver AI products and services. Successful AI products and services require more than big data, algorithms, and advanced math, they must reflect a reasonable understanding of user needs and behavior and instill an acceptable le(OTU) the Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI)vel of explainability and trust. Human-centered artificial intelligence (HCAI) can help us to make sure we are delivering products that people need and want. HCAI is a person-first approach to creating AI products. It incorporates human-centered design principles and design thinking to create products that suit human needs and augment human capabilities.
