Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Cannabis Industry to Achieve Social Justice

Laws enforcing the prohibition of cannabis have unjustly harmed people of color for nearly a century. As a result, the regulated cannabis industry has a duty to advocate for legalization that effectively increases business opportunities for people of color. This panel will explore innovative solutions for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion to achieve social justice. The panelists will also discuss barriers to achieving social justice and how elected officials can help the industry overcome them.
