NOV 2, 2022

CRISPR Virtual Event Series 2022

Labroots invites you to join us at our 5th Annual Event in the CRISPR Virtual Event Series! This event builds on previous years events and advances the conversations happening around the abilities of CRISPR-based gene editing, next-gen editing tools, precision in gene editing and using CRISPR for drug discovery. This event will take place on November 2, 2022.

The planning committee is proud to bring together thought leaders from academia, trained researchers from clinical laboratories, and industry experts from pharmaceutics and biotech. Experts will share case studies, experiences, and new developments regarding best practices and will address appropriate alternatives that are currently in development.

The tracks for this year's event include:
  • CRISPR Biology – CRISPR genomic editing allows researchers to create models, edit DNA sequences, and modify gene function. This track covers recent advancements in discovery and classification.
    • Discovery and Classification of CRISPR base editors
  • CRISPR in Diagnostics – Applying CRISPR tools in diagnostics has the potential to accurately and quickly diagnose disease. This track focuses on the potential applications of CRISPR in clinical diagnostics.
    • Multiplexed Analysis
    • Non-nucleic Acid Detection via CRISPR
    • Machine Learning
    • Wearables and On-Site Applications
  • CRISPR in Disease Therapy – CRISPR can be used to edit DNA and can potentially be applied to the treatment of genetic diseases and disorders. This track covers how and where these applications can be made.
    • Genome Engineering
    • Therapeutics

Call for Posters — Do you work with CRISPR or gene editing? Whether in academia, industry, or medicine, we welcome posters from all researchers at all levels. Virtual poster sessions offer the opportunity to present your data to a global audience via a PDF poster with optional video summary and discuss the results with interested colleagues across the globe through email or our virtual networking lounge. Plan now to have your poster included in the 2022 CRIRPR Virtual Event. Read about how to optimize your poster for a virtual audience here.

  • Submit your abstract here

Our virtual conference allows you to participate in a global setting with no travel or cost to you.  The event will remain open for 2 years from the date of the live event, and the webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing. This virtual conference also offers increased reach for the global CRISPR community with a high degree of interaction through live-streaming video and chat sessions.

Continuing Education

Labroots is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. By attending this event, you can earn 1 Continuing Education credit per presentation for a maximum of 30 credits.
